Hi there, I’m Asanga
I am a professional chemistry tutor with 10 years of experience. I have a passion for teaching and enjoy helping students achieve their academic goals. My goal as a tutor is to provide a supportive and encouraging learning environment that fosters a deeper understanding of chemistry concepts.
I graduated with a BSc in chemistry from the university of Colombo and a MSc in materials chemistry from the Norwegian university of science and technology. Currently I'm reading for my Ph.D at Queenslad University of technology and I've gained more than two years of experience in the chemical industry. Since my exposure in both academic and industrial settings, I have a practical understanding of the importance of chemistry in the world around us. As a tutor, I use this understanding to help students connect what they learn in the classroom to real-world applications.
I understand that chemistry can be a challenging subject for many students, but with the right approach and guidance, it can also be a fascinating and rewarding one. I strive to make each tutoring session engaging and interactive, and I work with my students to identify their individual strengths and weaknesses. Whether you need help with a specific concept or require ongoing support throughout the semester, I am committed to helping you reach your goals and succeed in your academic career.
